This tour is designed to get you 'under the skin' of Bhutanese society. Not only will we take you right through the Kingdom to the rarely visited far eastern provinces, but your Bhutanese guide will organize visits to weaving centers, villages, monasteries and any special events and festival that may be taking place. There is no hard walking involved, but there is gentle exercise on strolls around the townships, plus visits to villages. Our vehicle is a Japanese mini-bus which your skilled driver will navigate on twisting mountain roads and over passes. By its nature it is an unpredictable, challenging adventure in a place that is only just emerging into the twentieth century.
